Menorah Foundation School

the Equality Act 2010 and schools

In line with the Equality Act 2010, Menorah Foundation School is a fully inclusive school and aims for all pupils to achieve their potential – personally, socially, emotionally and academically – in all areas of the curriculum regardless of their gender, ethnicity, social background, religion, sexual identity, physical ability or educational needs.

The Equality Act 2010 legally protects people from discrimination in the workplace and in wider society. It replaced previous anti-discrimination laws with a single Act, making the law easier to understand and strengthening protection in some situations.
